Makeup for your special day need not make you look completely different but enhance your features and bring out the best of you. For example you can see from the before and after picture of this bride her eyes really stand out and look much bluer in the after picture. This is due to using complimentary colours to her eye colour and framing the eyes which draws more attention to this fabulous feature.
The lipstick compliments the whole look by adding a shade that’s similar to that used on the eyes this creates a perfect look for weddings, special occasions and is great for both daytime and evening makeup as it is very long lasting. Eye makeup... Different looks can be achieved with the same colours but just applied differently. For example Smokey eyes are created with different variations of colour and then smudged to a soft finish. The same colours can be applied more defined as a neat eye line and shading over the lid for a completely different effect.
Try Truecolours and Moonlights 100% pure colour as used by Hollywood makeup artists and many professionals.

Lip tip!!
Apply a neutral or nude lip liner to stop your lip stick bleeding into the creases around your lip line. Blot slightly and reapply. Eat carefully even sandwiches with a knife and fork to prevent too much lipstick transferring to your food from lips whilst eating for a longer lasting lippy!!
Create these sparkly eyes with moonlights and true colours makeup and a fresh natural face with supercover giving you a flawless complexion without looking caked. The result, perfect looking skin, enhancing your best features! The right makeup and shades makes all the difference to the final look and how long it lasts.
Eyeliner When applying eyeliner try to lean on a dressing table at just below chest height place a mirror fairly close to you on the table. Steady one elbow on the table in front of you and lean in towards the mirror. Start by carefully making small tiny strokes or dots of the eyeliner to join neatly making a smooth even line around the roots of the lashes. For a softer effect a smudger can be used to smudge and blend the harshness away from the line which creates a softer finish or a Smokey effect if blended out. If you don’t have a smudging tool then try using a dry cotton bud and gently brush over the line.
Blusher For a cheekbone effect apply the darker toned blusher under the lighter one in the deeper part of your cheek bones try to use colours that are similar tones but a few shades darker for just under the cheekbone area. Smile when applying your blusher so you don’t go beyond the apples of your cheeks. Try applying from your temples and brush lightly over cheeks working downwards. Brides often ask me what sort of look they should go for? when I apply their makeup I bring out the best features on their face usually the eyes or the lips. A flawless complexion is popular to hide those naughty blemishes that can appear.
Other types of makeup
The Dewy look… very popular for a fresh faced just stepped in from a brisk walk a healthy and glowing look. This is really popular and is seen very recently in many top fashion magazines. It gives you a really healthy complexion that others are envious of as your skin looks flawless but so natural that it is hard for others to tell if it is your skin or if you have makeup on. The coverage is still superb but maintains a very natural appearance. This is a popular makeup style for weddings and seems to never date as it gives such a natural image and a glow to the skin.
The matt finish… great for a flawless complexion and has no shine gives a matt velvety finish to the skin. Popular for those that suffer with shiny oily skin naturally and want a matt effect. Rice powder is great for keeping this matt look through out the day.
