Nails Surrey. Day out with Leighton Denny

I was very honoured to have received an email from Leighton Denny famous nail tech to the stars and one of my nail idols after watching him on a documentary and seeing his pictures on the front covers of my magazines!! I had written about how much I liked a particular nail design of his called ‘hologram nails’ and happened to see his salon when on a day out. It was a dream of mine to have my nails done by him and be pampered for a change. As being very busy I have very little time to treat myself. I have always done my own nails and I am very fussy about them. A set of his nails cost from £150.00 and he only really treats his famous clientele now as he is so busy launching his own product line, working with many other aspects of the industry and his waiting list is huge. He also does an editorial for a beauty magazine for the nails section and appears in many popular magazines.

I was shocked when I received an email from the man himself asking me if I would like to meet him and have a complimentary set of nails, my favourite hologram nails and pick his brains. It was great to learn how to recreate this stunning look, what a brilliant opportunity for me and a dream come true!!!! You would usually have to be like the Queen to get an appointment with Leighton but here he was offering me one for free. It was so nice to see someone so high up in the industry giving something back!!! I was very lucky. He was great, very down to earth and made me feel like a star too.
So here I am with a big smile on my face with Leighton Denny at his salon in Harrods, London and now sporting a lovely set of holograms. With the knowledge and fabulous tips I have received from Leighton I hope to be trying this look out on my eager clients!!!
