Finding a professional beauty therapist and make up artist.
Harmony in Beauty is one example of a highly recommended service that offers fantastic wedding packages. These can include your make up application with other beauty treatments prior to the day such as eyebrow waxing and facials to prepare your skin.

Having your make up professionally applied makes such a difference as the make up artist will know how to bring out the best of your features and cover up any unsightly blemishes which could appear. There are many different looks, which can be achieved with make up from very natural and glowing to elegant or glamorous. It is possible to achieve a flawless finish to the skin without having to apply a thick layer of foundation. This is achieved through the use of high quality products and an artist's hand.

Always enquire about the products that are used and have a make up trial so you are happy with what the finished result will look like. Your make up trial is a time for you to discuss everything from your make up colour and style to application and the look you would like to achieve, it can help to bring along pictures from magazines to give an idea of the type of looks you like. It is always nice to browse through a make artist's portfolio to be able to see how other brides have been transformed for their special day.

Preparing your skin
During the build up to your wedding you may find that stress plays havoc with your complexion. Try to stay as stress free as possible while organising your wedding. Treat yourself to a nice relaxing aroma massage or facial to help calm and revitalise the skin.
It is important to drink up to 2 litres of water a day to help flush through any toxins in the body and hydrate the skin. Any beauty regime should be started well in advance, at least two months prior to the wedding. Your skin cells take approximately this time to reach the surface (epidermis) so it is important to nourish the skin during this time.
